Ian Graham

Chief Excecutive Officer

Mr. Graham is an accomplished mining professional with over 20 years of experience in the development and exploration of mineral deposits, mostly gained with the major mining companies Rio Tinto and Anglo American. Formerly Chief Geologist with the Project Generation Group at Rio Tinto located in Vancouver, Ian has been involved with evaluation and pre-development work on several projects in Canada and abroad including the Diavik Diamond Mine (Northwest Territories, Canada), Resolution Copper (Arizona, USA), Eagle Nickel (Michigan, USA), Lakeview Nickel (Minnesota, USA) and Bunder Diamonds (India). Prior to his work with Rio Tinto, Ian held exploration geologist roles with Anglo American. Since work with the majors Ian co-founded Discovery Harbour Resources Corp., which partnered in discovery of the Noranda-style Wabassi VMS district in N. Ontario and worked with Western Potash Corp. on its Milestone Project; Ian is a proponent of the strategic metals (Board, Commerce Resources). Ian graduated from the University of Natal (now Kwa-Zulu Natal) in Durban, South Africa with a B.Sc. in Geology and Applied Geology (1984) and B.Sc. (Hons) in Geology (1985).

Anita Algie BSc.

President, Director

Miss Algie, is head of compliance, President and Director of the Company. Ms. Algie has over 10 years of experience in management, listings, corporate structure and mergers and acquisitions for exploration and resource based public companies. Miss Algie has successfully completed three CPC Qualifying Transactions . She is currently also President & CEO of Aurgent Gold Corp. (AUR-TSXV) and Menika Mining Ltd. (MML-TSXV) and a director of Titus Energy Corp. (TIS-TSXV). Ms. Algie was formerly a director of Alderon Resource Corp.(ADV—TSXV), Aroway Minerals Inc. (ARW-TSXV), August Metal Corp. (AGP-TSXV) and Deloro Resources Ltd (DLL-TSXV).

Peter Born, P.Geo. 

Director & Qualified Person

Dr. Born is a highly respected senior geologist with over 30 years experience exploring and evaluating mining properties for senior and junior Canadian and US resource companies. He holds a Ph.D. in Earth Sciences with expertise in Precambrian Sedimentary Geology, Basin Analysis, Sedimentology, Stratigraphy and SedimentaryOredeposits. His experience includes several years of uranium exploration in the Athabasca Basin and the Thelon Uranium Basin of the Northwest Territories.

Gil Schneider

Director

Mr. Schneider has over 37 years of senior management experience, including a distinguished 15 year career as Vice President with world renowned Aramark Corporation. He successfully listed Agrimarine Holdings (FSH:TSXV), an environmentally sustainable salmon farming business with operations in China and the BC West Coast, as well as Abattis Bioceuticals, a CSE Exchange trading volume leader in 2014. In 2010 Mr. Schneider co-founded Athabasca Uranium Inc. and acted as Chief Executive Officer until October 2014 and continues as a Director. Under his leadership the company aggregated over 60,000 hectares of prime exploration properties in the Athabasca Basin and discovered the Keefe Lake Uranium Zone.

Arni Johannson

Chairman of the Board

Mr. Johannson has over 27 years experience in venture capital and public markets. One of his many successes include The Fortress Group (Fortress Paper TSX-FTP), of which he was co-founder.  He has particular experience in the uranium sector and currently serves as director for Mega Uranium (TSX-MGA) and sits on numerous advisory boards.  He also founded Titan Uranium (TSXV-TUE) whose ROOK 1 property, now in Nexgen Energy (TSXV-NXE), is proving out to be one of the most prolific exploration properties in the history of the Athabasca Basin .

Allan McNutt P.Geo.

Advisory Board

Allan McNutt is a geologist with expertise in project evaluation and has experience in exploration for uranium, base metal and gold exploration programs in Canada and the US.  His experience includes grassroots exploration to ore resource estimation in a wide variety of geological and geographical environments. Mr McNutt is a graduate of McGill University and a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia. With over 30 years experience in the resource sector, Allan brings an extensive uranium-specific background to the Company having first worked in the Athabasca Basin, Saskatchewan in 1975. Allan was VP Exploration and later VP Corporate Acquisitions for Titan Uranium (2007-2010) and Manager of Exploration for Dejour Enterprises Ltd (2005-2007).  Prior to this, he served for 14 years as Senior Geologist and District Geologist with Rio Algom Exploration Inc.  Before that, he spent seven years with Saskatchewan Mining Development Corporation (now Cameco, TSX: CCO), where as Joint Venture Geologist, he was involved in the delineation of the Dawn Lake uranium deposits and the discovery of the Cigar Lake deposit. Mr. McNutt is a “Qualified Person” as defined by National Instrument 43-101.

Thomas Tough P.Eng Geo

Geological Exploration Advisory Board

Mr. Tough has over 40 years of experience as a Consulting Professional Engineer in 40 different countries, including both the western and eastern hemispheres. He has been actively involved in property examinations, qualifying reports, evaluations, project acquisitions and negotiations, mine evaluation, underground and surface exploration, reserve and resource estimations, mine and mill planning and processing, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, development and production, open pit and underground, as operator, project manager, and consultant on precious and base metals, industrial minerals, gemstones and oil and gas. Mr. Tough has negotiated corporate financings and joint venture partnerships and dealt with various levels of domestic and foreign governmental bodies.

In addition Mr. Tough, who has held numerous directorships and officer positions in public companies, was for 18 years President, CEO and Director of Desert Sun Mining Corp.; the Company and its producing gold mine in Brazil was ultimately purchased by Yamana Gold Inc. in April 2006 for over $600,000,000. Mr. Tough is currently President, CEO and Director of Maxtech Ventures Inc., Director of Potash One Inc., Director of Desert Gold Ventures Inc., President, CEO and Director of CLI Resources Inc. and President, CEO and Director of Firebird Resources Inc.

Richard Ko

CFO & Director

Mr. Ko is a CA with over ten years of experience working with public companies.

Unity Energy Corp. Annual General And Special Meeting Results

December 16, 2016 – Unity Energy Corp. (UTY:TSX.V) (“Unity” or the “Company”) held its Annual General and Special Meeting (“AGSM”) at 11:00 am Pacific Standard Time on Thursday, December 15, 2016. At the Company’s Meeting, shareholders representing 11.92% of the Company’s outstanding shares, reappointed Anita Algie, Richard Ko, Gilbert Schneider and Peter Born to the board of directors. Shareholders re-approved the 10-per-cent rolling stock option plan, reappointed MNP LLP as auditor of the Company for the ensuing year, and authorized the directors to fix the remuneration to be paid to the auditor. In addition, shareholders also approved the re-pricing of 985,000 stock options previously granted to insiders of the Company.

Ms. Algie, who is also the President, CEO and Director of First Cobalt Corp. (FCC-TSX.V) and director of Avarone Metals Inc. (AVM-CSE), CEO and CFO of Norsemont Capital Inc. (NOM-CSE) graduated from the University of British Columbia with an Honours Degree in Science. Ms. Algie was formerly a director of Alderon Resource Corp. (ADV-TSX.V), Aroway Minerals Inc. (ARW-TSX.V), and August Metal Corp. (AGP-TSX.V). She has been actively involved in management, corporate finance and compliance for public companies in the oil and gas and mining sectors for over ten years. This includes the completion of three CPC Qualifying Transactions in the mining and energy sectors.
